About AMD :
The engineer will be working on the validating AMD’s software enablement of Machine Learning and Deep Neural Network technologies. The role involves working closely with the stakeholders to understand the requirements, develop test strategy, deriving test cases, writing test scripts for various ML and DNN benchmark models and execute the test cases (both manual and automation) on supported AMD platforms.

AMD is looking for an experienced engineer for an exciting role in Server CPU software development team. This person will be a member of a core team and will work with the latest hardware and software technology. The person will interact closely with key AMD technical experts to ensure the best possible performance and results on AMD platforms.

Role and Responsibility:
- Work with the leads to understand the testing requirements and test plan, responsible for the execution of the test plans
- Enhance and maintain test suites: develop test cases to ensure functionality is tested thoroughly, develop test cases to enhance the performance of the tools, extract test cases from problem statements and execution of the test cases
- Should possess good analytical skills to help root cause the issue detected during testing
- Should be a good team player
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the test harness on various platforms
- Analyze and validate tests results: create reports of test execution, bugs identified, validate bug fixes
Education and Skills :
- B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent
- Knowledge on any processor architecture and scripting languages like Python/Shell is desirable
- Understanding of OS concepts and working knowledge of Linux/Windows OS
- Expertise of High-level languages i.e. C/C++ is an advantageExpectation is not to develop code, but should be able to understand the written code and programming logic
- Knowledge on Machine Learning, CNN algorithms and Deep Learning (DL) frameworks is a plus
- Good knowledge of testing fundamentals (eye for bugs)
- Good oral and written communication skills
