Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled Java App Developer who will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users/resources. The primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, and policy and compliance engine, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end while managing and collecting data from remote nodes at scale. The Java Developer will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements (build by the team) into the application.

Role and Responsibility :
- Design and implement frameworks and features that are instrumental in building the next generation Sophos Cloud Optix feature set
- Participate in design sessions with engineering management, architects, operations and development team leads.
- Providing support to operations team when needed in the field
Education and Skills:
- 0 to 2 years of total working experience
- Good understanding of fundamentals of computer science, from the theoretical to expert practice, in a variety of areas, including programming languages, operating systems, networking protocols, databases and transactional systems, real-time systems, reliability, security, and performance analysis
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent in verbal and written communication, and able to constructively discuss and convey differing ideas, approaches and perspectives
- Eagerness to learn the world of Internet security and the Sophos product suite
